The Monte Mulini hotel by Maistra Inc is one of the three hotels in Croatia to have been awarded the Q Mark for quality and service excellence by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Croatia. The hotel earned the Q Mark after passing an audit in nine different areas, such as hotel security, interior design and equipment quality, management of the environment, food storage, guest safety, higher quality in comparison to the standard classifications, cooperation with the local community, etc. The assessment was conducted by mystery guests, based on their professional knowledge, the quality standard requirements, and their stay at the hotel for at least 24 hours without prior announcement. Their report on the stay at the hotel is considered evidence that the hotel has earned the Q Mark. This valuable recognition is awarded according to the Regulations drawn by the Ministry of Tourism in cooperation with professional associations and the Croatian Chamber of Economy. The Quality Mark is a voluntary certification awarded on request and reassessed every three years. It allows hotel companies to promote and emphasize their commitment to implementing improvements in the quality of their services. The Q Marks were presented to the hotels at the Awards Ceremony by Tourism Minister Veljko Ostojić.
Furthermore, on July 1, 2012, Monte Mulini will become a member of the collection featuring the world’s most prestigious hotels, resorts and spa centers - The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW).
