Cycling and Hiking

In the area of Rovinj there are three marked biking trails for recreational bikers. Many attractive cultural and natural sights can be encountered while biking on these trails.

Tennis

Attractive tennis courts and centers facilitated the increasing popularization of tennis in Rovinj. Traditionally, each spring Rovinj hosts the Istrian Riviera tennis tournament.

Football

"Valbruna" Sports Center has two very good natural grass football fields and a new field with the "fifth generation" of artificial turf and dimensions 105 x 66 meters.

Free climbing

In the last few years in Rovinj, as everywhere in the world, free climbing is a sport that is increasingly spreading and gaining popularity.

Sailing and Rovinj´s Regattas

Each year, a number of interesting regattas are held in Rovinj, the traditional ones are Pesaro - Rovinj - Pesaro, Chioggia - Rovinj – Chioggia, Cup Rovinja, te Regata oglavnih jedara – brodica sa oglavnim jedrima.

Diving

Diving is a true adventure here, revealing all beauties of Rovinj’s submarine world, an abundance of preserved flora and fauna, as well as a number of underwater walls and reefs, caves and shipwrecks.

Looking at Rovinj from the sea is a lovely sight and one of those magical experiences one rarely has the opportunity to enjoy.

In three sports halls Valbruna, Mlinovi and Pionirski dom, where one can practice  gymnastics and dance, play handball, volleyball, basketball, football, badminton.
