Cycling and Hiking

In the area of Rovinj there are three marked biking trails for recreational bikers. Many attractive cultural and natural sights can be encountered while biking on these trails. All tracks are adapted to recreationists and what makes them interesting is the numerous attractive cultural and natural sites you come across while biking. In addition to bikers, the tracks are used by recreationists for hiking recreational walking, jogging, strolls, etc. The bike track brochure including explanations in 4 languages (Croatian, Italian, English and German) is available at the Rovinj Tourist Association.

Track Vistrum

All trails are circular and marked with different colors. Red trail is 23 kilometers long and starts at the entrance to Zlatni rt Forest Park and passes the following points: Hutterott Museum (1), Zlatni rt Forest Park (2); Cuvi Bay (3), TN Villas Rubin (4); AC Polari (5); AC Veštar (6), Roman Road (7); Agro-tourism Mofardin (8); Palud ornithological reservation (9); Quarry (10), St. Nicholas Church (11); Agrotourism Milić (12) The church of Madonna di Campo (13); Moncodogno archaeological site (14); Lampadapili Swamp (15); Pulizoi Depression (16).

Track Limes

Blue trail is 26 kilometers long and starts in Amarin tourist resort and passes the following points: TN Amarin (1); Saline Swamp (2); TN Valalta (3), the ruins of the church of St. Bartol (4) Church of St. Christopher (5); Mondelaco - an ancient quarry (6) Church of St. Thomas (7), the ruins of the church of Sv. Proto (8); exit for the Lim bay viewpoint (9); Rovinjsko selo (10) Church of St. Cecilia (11); Substation (12); Gripole (13); HAK building (14), Football field (15), Basketball court (16); Shipyard Škver (17), Church of S. Giovanni Bosco (18); Church of Our Lady of Mercy (19) Church of St. Trinity (20), Franciscan Monastery (21) Old Town (22), Aquarium (23), an old train station (24) Hospital (25); Borik - Valsavie (26).

Track Rubinum

Yellow trail is 24 kilometres long and starts in Polari campsite, and passes the following points: AC Polari (1), AC Veštar (2); Šime's house (3), St. Nicholas Church (4); Agrotourism Milić (5); Stancija Bašić (6); monument dedicated to the fallen fighters in NOB (National Liberation Struggle) (7), Rovinjsko selo (8); exit for the Lim bay viewpoint (9), the ruins of the church of Sv. Proto (10) Church of St. Thomas (11); Mondelaco - an ancient quarry (12), Porton Biondi (13); Local cemetery (14) Church of St. Concetta (15), St. Gottardo (16); High School - Austro-Hungarian building (17);  Lampadapili Swamp (18); Pulizoi Depression (19).
